    Vermont clinic FAQ

What if I’m not happy with my clinic?

We want you to be completely satisfied. If you’re dissatisfied in any way with an event you attended, we’ll give you another opportunity, free of charge, to get the skills instruction experience you expected.

Which Vermont clinic is right for me?

New to mountain biking or never had coaching? Start with Fundamental Skills. Want the biggest jump in one weekend? The 2-Day Skills Camp pulls the whole Ninja curriculum together. Not sure? Take the 30-second quiz.

How old do riders need to be?

There’s no upper age limit, only minimums: 11+ for Fundamentals and Jumping Mini-Clinics, 15+ for Intermediate/Advanced clinics and multi-day camps, and 18+ for 2-Day Advanced Trail Application Camps. We recommend riders under 15 attend with a parent or adult. Ninja Kids clinics are for ages 8–12.

    Do I need experience?

Not for Fundamentals. Jumping Mini-Clinics and Intermediate/Advanced clinics need at least two years of mountain biking experience and/or a previous Fundamentals clinic.

    Can I bring an eBike?

Yes, at venues with eBike-friendly trails. Look for the “eBikes OK” tag on the Vermont dates above. Not every venue allows eBikes, so check with us if you’re unsure.

When will I get the meeting spot and what to bring?

Exactly where to meet, what to bring and other details are on your Event Information Page, linked in your registration confirmation email. We also email you a reminder 3 days before your clinic. Some parks charge a small entry fee, paid on arrival, and it’s noted in that date’s details.

    Do you rent bikes?

We don’t rent or demo bikes. A local bike shop or outdoor store is the best bet, and if you need help finding one near your Vermont clinic, contact us and we’ll point you in the right direction.

    What if it rains?

Clinics and camps may be rescheduled because of rain or other bad weather. We’ll let you know with as much notice as possible if your date needs to move.

    What if my plans change?

Add Ninja Event Insurance at checkout and you can cancel up to 48 hours before your event for a full credit. Cancellations without Event Insurance, or within 48 hours, follow our standard cancellation policy.

How fit do I need to be?

Basic health and fitness is fine. You don’t need to be an elite athlete. Some camp locations are more demanding than others, so contact us if you’d like a recommendation.

    Are the coaches certified?

Yes. All Ninja instructors are BICP/IMBA or PMBIA certified.
